The safety of our birds is important to us; therefore we have adopted the following principles to insure that our birds arrive home safely:
Doves are not able to navigate at night. Therefore the release must be scheduled to allow adequate time to get home before dark. Within the Hutton area, this is generally one hour before sunset; we can calculate the latest possible time from your event location, based on the date of your event.
- We cannot release our doves indoors.
- We cannot release our doves in inclement weather, such as heavy fog or storms.
- We ensure that every event has at least one knowledgeable release coordinator present.
A 50% deposit is required within I week of return of contract to hold your date and post your event on our calendar. Deposits are non- refundable, except where mentioned below.
No deposit is required for funeral services. However, payment must be received 1 week prior to the Dove release.
Other Dove releases. The balance is due a full 2 weeks prior to the event.
Payment is accepted in the form of an internet Bank payment or money order. Credit cards accepted through PayPal (account not required).
Delays past the scheduled release time are subject to a fee of £25 per hour.
Our service area covers approximately 20 miles from the birds’ home loft in Weston super Mare, Somerset. Locations outside of this range are subject to an additional charge.
Agreement is subject to weather conditions allowing birds to arrive home safely.
Payment is 100% refundable if we determine in advance of our departure that a release is not possible.
Sudden weather conditions that prohibit a release after our arrival will result in a refund less 50% for time and travel. If a release is not possible, we will discount 25% on another event of yours within two weeks of the date.
